Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Macaroons

2 2/3 c flaked coconut
2/3 c sugar
1/3 c all-purpose flour
1/4 t salt
3 egg whites
1/2 t vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Coconut Macaroons

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.

  2. Lightly grease and flour a large cookie sheet or line it with parchment paper; set aside.

  3. In medium mixing bowl stir together coconut, sugar, flour, and salt. Using a wooden spoon, stir in egg whites and vanilla.

  4. Drop coconut mixture by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheet.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

  6. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.
