Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Custard Pie with Sugar Glaze

1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup sugar, brown, packed
1 pie crust
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
1 cup coconut
2 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Coconut Custard Pie with Sugar Glaze

  1. preheat oven to 400

  2. beat the eggs and then stir in the white sugar, vanilla and 1/2 cup of coconut

  3. pour into pie crust

  4. bake for 40 minutes

  5. let cool

  6. sprinkle brown sugar, remaining coconut and butter over top of pie and broil for 3 minutes
