Recipe Ingredients for Coconut chutney

2 oz coconut meat
1 tbsp chickpeas
1 tsp oil
1 pepper, green chili
1/4 tsp mustard
1/4 tsp black bean
1 salt to taste

Recipe Directions for Coconut chutney

  1. heat half the oil and saute chickpeas till golden red.

  2. grind the chickpeas, coconut meat, green chili and salt till fine. add water as needed.

  3. heat remaining oil, splutter mustard, and saute black bean till golden brown.

  4. add to coconut paste and serve with idlis, dosas, pooris.
