Recipe Ingredients for Coconut Butter

600 grams Shredded Coconut, Unsweetened

Recipe Directions for Coconut Butter

  1. Pour shredded coconut in to food processor and proces for about ten minutes or until coconut is smooth and liquid.

  2. Sweeten to taste (I add scant 1 tsp SØD no-calorie liquid sweetener) and add scant 1 tsp vanilla essence.

  3. Pour into a 500 ml clean jar or container. If stored at room temperature butter will last about 30 days. After a few hours the cream will thicken up and become butter.
