Recipe Ingredients for Coca Cola Chicken

330 ml Cola
375 g chicken thighs, skinless
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot
1/3 cup spring onion
1/2 cup mushroom
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp corn starch
1/8 cup fresh ginger
4 cloves garlic
200 g egg noodles

Recipe Directions for Coca Cola Chicken

  1. Heat a pan, add the chicken and seal.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger, stir for a couple of seconds, then add the cola, the soy and the vinegar .

  3. Bring back to the boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer until thick and syrupy.

  4. Boil some water for the noodles

  5. Chop the veggies in the meantime, and add to the chicken once the sauce is all but ready.

  6. Cook the noodles and drain.

  7. When the veg is tender, you're ready to serve.

  8. (If a little liquid, add the corn starch mixed with a tsp of water.)
