Basic cobbler recipe (goes with strawberry sauce recipe)

Recipe Ingredients for Cobbler

1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 stick Butter
1 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
3 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid

Recipe Directions for Cobbler

Melt butter in 10 inch baking pan in oven, tilting to cover the bottom. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Mix well and pour into the melted butter, spreading batter to cover pan. Pour the strawberry sauce mixture on top but do not stir. Bake in the lower third of the oven for 1 hour, or until lightly browned on top. The crust rises as it bakes. Serve warm.
