Recipe Ingredients for Cleaned up mexican rice

2 cup Boil-in-Bag Brown Rice
3 3/10 g Kombu
1 medium raw Bell Pepper Green
0.5 medium raw Onion Red
20 oz Tomatoes
3 tsp Garlic Powder
3 oz Tomato Paste

Recipe Directions for Cleaned up mexican rice

Sweat onion and bell pepper with a little salt in a tablespoon of water or chicken stock. Add tomato paste and let it brown a little. Add rotel and 2 rotel cans of water. Add kombu,bay leaves, garlic powder, and an optional teaspoon of tumeric. Stir, simmer 10-12 minutes until rice is cooked. Remove kombu and bay leaves.
