Recipe Ingredients for Clean-the-fridge stew

1/2 onion
1 1/2 cups chicken meat
2 celery stalk
2 carrot
3 plum tomatoes
6 cups chicken broth
1 cup sweet corn
1 potato
1 cup wild rice
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup water
1 tsp basil
1/3 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Clean-the-fridge stew

  1. Coarsely chop vegetables and chicken.

  2. Add to large pot in 3 minute intervals, starting with onion, then garlic, carrots, celery, corn, and tomatoes.

  3. Add 1 cup chicken stock

  4. Add rice and potatoes.

  5. Add remaining stock and chicken.

  6. Combine the flour, water, basil, and oil to form a pasta dough. Roll into small (1/4 dia) balls and drop in the pot.
