Moist, chewy whole-grainy tasting honey cookies. Great as a snack or dessert. Can also substitute agave syrup for honey to decrease calories.

Recipe Ingredients for Clean-Eating Almond Honey Cookies

1 1/2 cups almonds
3/4 cup honey
4 egg whites

Recipe Directions for Clean-Eating Almond Honey Cookies

  1. Arrange racks so you have access to the lowest level where cookies will bake. Preheat oven to 350 F and parchment paper a pan.

  2. In a stand mixer, whip 4 egg whites until stiff peaks form.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour (ground almonds) and honey.

  4. Add the honey-nut mixture to the egg white mixture and fold until just combined.

  5. Bake, on the lowest rack, 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
