Recipe Ingredients for Clean Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Muffins

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oats
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup Flaxseed Meal
1/2 cup flaxseed
2 fuji apples
12 oz. unsweetened applesauce
2 teaspoons baking soda
6 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup raw honey
1 cup egg whites
3/4 cup 2% milk
1 cup chopped almonds

Recipe Directions for Clean Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Raisin Muffins

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.

  2. Add egg whites to dry ingredients.

  3. Finely chop apples (food processor worked great) and mix with applesauce, cinnamon (to taste), raisins, and honey. When mixed, pour this into batter. Mix all together.

  4. Pour in milk. Stir in almonds.

  5. Separate batter into 24 muffin cups (about 1/4 cup per muffin).

  6. Bake on 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
