Recipe Ingredients for Classic Chicken Cacciatore

23 ounces Chicken Breast, Skinless (Perdue)
794 Crushed Tomatoes w/ Basil
6 ounces Mushrooms, Sliced (Green Giant)
150 grams Yellow Onions, Sliced
240 grams Sweet Red Pepper, Diced
1 tablespoon Capers
3 Garlic Cloves, Crushed
1 tablespoon Oregano, Dried
1/4 cup Basil
1 1/2 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Black Pepper, Fresh Ground

Recipe Directions for Classic Chicken Cacciatore

Place thick slices of onion in bottom of slow cooker. Place chicken breasts in next (may be salted, to taste; but will add unhealthy sodium to food). Cover with tomato sauce (use homemade or brand of your choice). Add fresh or canned sliced mushrooms and all other ingredients. Cook slowly until meat is falling apart.
