Recipe Ingredients for Classic Bran Muffins

134 grams Bran Buds
0.33 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
8 oz Fat Free Plain Yogurt
2 large Egg, White
0.33 cup, unpacked Sugars, Brown
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 cup Craisins, Sweetened Dried Cranberries

Recipe Directions for Classic Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease muffin pan.

  2. Mix together the bran buds and yogurt.

  3. Beat together applesauce, egg, sugar, and vanilla and add to the bran/yogurt mixture.

  4. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and add into bran mixture.

  5. Fold in craisins.

  6. Spoon batter into muffin pan.

  7. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool.

  8. Enjoy!
