I'm going to try this without the butter, but it is so delicious as is!

Recipe Ingredients for Class French Steamed Mussels

100 mussels
1 T unsalted butter
3/4 cup white wine
2 garlic cloves, chopped
2 green onions, chopped

Recipe Directions for Class French Steamed Mussels

  1. Melt butter; saute green onions until soft but not brown; add garlic and wine and bring to a boil; add mussels; steam for 8 minutes. Be sure to have some broth!

  2. This recipe makes 2 servings and is shockingly high calorie (mussels are 7 calories a piece!)
