2 pounds of potatoes
1 large onion
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of Gruyere cheese
2/3 cups of heavy cream

Recipe Directions for Class_Au Gratin Potatoes

  1. Steam or boil potatoes until tender.

  2. Place the potatoes in a greased pan.

  3. Sauté the onion in butter.

  4. Add the cheese and stir until melted.

  5. Add the heavy cream, salt and pepper

  6. Pour the sauce over the potatoes and bake at 350â—‹F oven for 20-30 minutes until heated through.
