Recipe Ingredients for Clarabdj Chard with Brussels & Red Peppers

5 cup Chard, Swiss
4 cup Brussels Sprouts
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
4 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
1/2 fl oz Lemon Juice
0.13 cup Pine Nuts

Recipe Directions for Clarabdj Chard with Brussels & Red Peppers

  1. In a large skillet combine brussels sprouts with about 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and crisp. Drain sprouts if needed and set aside

  2. Meanwhile, cut leaves from chard stems, stack and cut into 1/2 inch wide ribbons

  3. Heat oil in same skillet, add garlic, bell pepper, and chard and saute over med heat for 4-5 mins until it is tender to your liking

  4. Place brussels back in skillet, season with the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Scatter pine nuts over the top and serve.
