A slightly modified version of my favorite clam/shellfish chowder.

Recipe Ingredients for Clam and Shrimp Chowder

1 lb potato
142 grams baby clams
1 lb shrimp
4 cup homogenized milk
1 cup skim milk
4 tsp salted butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Clam and Shrimp Chowder

  1. Cube potatoes to a good size (3/4 to 1 inch) and parboil for about 15 minutes

  2. Add the butter and stir around for a couple minutes to coat the potatoes

  3. add the clams, shrimp milk, salt and pepper

  4. cook until the shrimp turns pink
