Yummy over pasta made with fresh ingredients

Recipe Ingredients for Clam Sauce

1/2 cup chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
10 ounces clams, drained
3 large tomatoes, chopped
1/2 tbsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Recipe Directions for Clam Sauce

  1. sautee onion and garlic in olive oil for 5 minutes add clams and tomatoes and spices. Allow to bubble slowly until tomatoes cook down about 10-15 minutes.

  2. Serve over hot whole wheat pasta with fresh parmesan!
