Recipe Ingredients for Clam Sauce and Linguine

2 c chopped clams
1 c. diced tomatoes
1/2 c. white wine
4 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 salt to taste
1 fresh ground pepper to taste
8 oz linguine

Recipe Directions for Clam Sauce and Linguine

  1. Heat olive oil and saute chopped garlic for 30 seconds.

  2. Add tomatoes, liquid drained from clams and crushed red pepper, and corn starch. Simmer until sauce thickens.

  3. Add wine and salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Add pasta and toss to coat.

  5. Add clams and heat through. Do not overcook the clams!
