1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup butter, 2 tbsp dried parsley, 1 tsp salt, 5 cloves garlic, 2 cans of clams with juice

Recipe Ingredients for clam sauce for linguine

0.5 stick Butter
13 oz Clams
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 tbsp Parsley, Dried
5 cloves, raw Garlic
2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for clam sauce for linguine

  1. melt butter in oil in 10-12 inch frying pan over medium heat

  2. reserving clam juice, open cans of clams and drain

  3. sauté garlic for a minute until just starting to turn color

  4. add clam juice to garlic to stop from browning

  5. add salt and parsley

  6. bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes

  7. increase heat and add clams to bring to a boil

  8. stop cooking and enjoy over linguine
