Recipe Ingredients for Clam Linguinie with White Sauce

2 oz whole wheat pasta
6 oz clalms, chopped
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
4 oz mushrooms
1 tsp parsley
1 tablespoons white wine
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Clam Linguinie with White Sauce

  1. Separate the clams from juice and reserve.

  2. Cook multi grain or whole wheat pasta as directed.

  3. In a large skillet saute the garlic and the mushrooms in the olive oil. Add the liquid from the clams, parsley, white wine, basil, and salt and stir well. Cook for 10 minutes. Stir in clams until heated through.

  4. Toss cooked and drained linguine pasta with the clam sauce and serve warm.
