Very basic and easy, and by no means low in fat, but very well worth it.

Recipe Ingredients for Clam Chowder

2 1/5 tbsp chopped Onions
1/2 clove Garlic
5.33 oz Potatoes
2 1/5 tbsp Celery
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.13 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper
1 []
10 oz Minced Clams in Natural Juice
0.67 cup Cream, Fluid, Half And Half
0.13 tsp Pure Cane Sugar
2 tbsp Butter

Recipe Directions for Clam Chowder

  1. in a blender, combine onion, garlic and enough water to make a smooth paste. Set aside

  2. In a large pot, combine pot

  3. atoes, celery, salt, pepper, onion mixture and juice from clams. Augment with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are soft, 20 minutes.

  4. Stir in half-and-half and sugar. Combine melted butter and flour, then whisk into soup. Cook and stir until thickened. Stir in clams and adjust seasonings.
