Home made New England Clam chowder

Recipe Ingredients for clam chowder

2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs flour
8 oz clam
8 oz diced potatoes
2 c milk
2 c water
2 tbs margarine

Recipe Directions for clam chowder

  1. heat olive oil in sauce pan over medium heat

  2. stir in flour to make a pasty rue

  3. slowly add in water (hot is best) stirring constantly

  4. add milk stirring until low boil

  5. add remaining ingredients

  6. simmer until potatoes are tender
