There is no salt added to this recipe. Season to taste. Baked potatoes make it too mealy, use fresh, cube & boil to el dente first.

Recipe Ingredients for Clam Chowder: Home made

4 potato (2-1/3" x 4-3/4") Potatoes, Baked, Flesh
1 cup Milk, Dry, Nonfat, Instant
1 tbsp Butter
5 oz BUMBLE BEE Fancy Whole Baby Clams
0.06 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour

Recipe Directions for Clam Chowder: Home made

  1. Saute chopped onions in butter.

  2. Add 1T flour to make rue.

  3. Make 3 cups of milk with 8T powdered milk.

  4. Add to rue.

  5. Rinse clams and add.

  6. Add potatoes (potatoes are already cooked & cubed).

  7. Add ground pepper for seasoning.

  8. Each serving is 1 Cup.
