This is Grandma's clam chowder recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Clam Chowder from Grandma's

1 quart half and half
30 fl oz Chicken Broth
1 Celery
1/2 cup shallot
26 oz BUMBLE BEE Chopped Clams
1/4 cup flour
1 medium carrot
2 tbsp ICBINB! Regular (Soft)
2 oz bacon
4 small potatoes

Recipe Directions for Clam Chowder from Grandma's

  1. Peel potatoes and chop. Slice carrots and add to a pot with the potatoes and chicken broth; bring to a boil. Open all canned clams and separate the clams from the liquid and keep the liquid. Cook the bacon in the microwave and dice.

  2. Preheat a separate larger pot to medium heat and add the butter. Mince celery and shallot and add to the butter and saute until it begins to brown. Add the clams and the bacon and heat until the clams start to pop. Add the flour and stir until all oil is absorbed. Add the clam juice and the half and half.

  3. Once the potatoes are cooked add to the half and half mix.
