Recipe Ingredients for Clam and Artichoke White Sauce

13 ounces clams, two cans with liquid
14 ounces artichoke hearts, canned
1 cup fat free milk
1/8 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon butter
3 ounces raw spinach
4 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
4 tablespoon parmesan cheese
2 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Clam and Artichoke White Sauce

  1. Heat olive oil over medium high heat

  2. Chop artichoke and add to pan, saute 2 minutes

  3. Add lemon juice

  4. Add butter and spinach, saute for 2 minutes

  5. Mix milk with flour and set aside

  6. Add all remaining ingredients, except cheese, to pan and bring to a boil.

  7. Add cheese and cook until melted

  8. Add flour and milk mixture and bring to a boil

  9. Reduce heat and simmer until thick
