little meatballs in a sweet but savory sauce - low fat version. I know the combination of grape jelly and chili sauce sounds weird, but trust me! Serving size - 3 meatballs

Recipe Ingredients for Claire's Cocktail Meatballs

1 pound ground turkey breast
1/2 cup onion, finely minced
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt, table
1/4 tsp pepper
8 ounces jelly, grape
8 ounces chili sauce

Recipe Directions for Claire's Cocktail Meatballs

  1. Combine the turkey, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper

  2. Form into 36 small meatballs

  3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and arrange the meatballs on it so they are not touching.

  4. Bake the meatballs at 350 f for 15 minutes, turning once.

  5. Place the cooked meatballs into a saucepan with the jelly and chili sauce.

  6. Heat to a simmer and stir until the jelly is melted.

  7. Cover and cook on very low heat for 10 to 20 minutes

  8. Serve warm
