Makes 6 servings



french dessert kind of like a "dessert quiche" but with no pie crust :) cherry and rhubarb works best but you can experiment with other fruits.

Recipe Ingredients for clafoutis rhubarb & cherries

2 egg
100 g flour
100 g sugar
1/2 liter milk
60 g butter
430 g cherries
378 g rhubarb

Recipe Directions for clafoutis rhubarb & cherries

  1. mix sugar and eggs first

  2. add flour and melted butter

  3. add the milk and 1tsp vanilla last (vanilla is your choice)

  4. lay chopped rhubarb et pitted cherries in a large pie pan ( silicone is best) add some parchment paper if it isn't silicone.

  5. pour over the batter on to the fruit and place in the over at 180C or375F and cook for about 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. let chill until firm and serve.
