Main dish, sauce - Romanian cuisine. It can be combined with fried / boiled chicken or mushrooms.

Recipe Ingredients for Ciulama

60 g wheat flour
150 g onions
20 g sunflower oil
3 g salt
2 l water

Recipe Directions for Ciulama

  1. Fry the onions (chopped) in the sunflower oil. Add the wheat flour. Add quickly ~2 glasses of water, while stirring. (Don't let the flour form bumps.) Boil for approximately 20mins (medium heat). Stir occasionally.

  2. Add salt (or seasoning), pepper, basil leaves (recommended).
