Pineapple with textured soy protein

Recipe Ingredients for Citrus Chunks

3 cup TVP
6 cup, diced Pineapple
16 oz Pineapple Juice
9 teaspoon Spicy Brown Mustard
2.3 tbsp Corn Starch
5 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Citrus Chunks

  1. Cube pineapple

  2. Make citrus sauce by combining pineapple juice, garlic, 2 teaspoons crushed rosemary, 2 tablespoons vegan worcestershire, corn starch, and mustard. Whisk.

  3. Bring 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture and 4 cups of water to a boil.

  4. Whisk in textured soy protein and reduce to a simmer.

  5. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

  6. Put cooked TVP in large oven-safe dish and pour remaining sauce over top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven, mix in cubed pineapple and cover with thinly sliced lemon slices. Bake for another 10 minutes.

  8. Serve.
