Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Waffles

1 cup Almond Meal/Flour
1 dash Salt, Table
1 tsp Baking Soda
0.25 cup, chopped Pecans
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tbsp Organic Flax Seed Meal
4 large Egg, Whole
2 1tsp Vegetable Oil, Coconut
4 tbsp Honey, Strained Or Extracted
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.5 fl oz Original Almond Breeze Unsweetened

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Waffles

  1. cup almond flour

  2. 1 pinch salt

  3. 1 tsp baking soda

  4. cup chopped pecans

  5. 1 tsp cinnamon

  6. 1 tbsp flax

  7. 4 eggs

  8. 2 Tbsp coconut oil (do not melt! Room temperature works great)

  9. 1/4 cup honey

  10. 1 tsp vanilla extract

  11. 1 tbsp almond milk

  12. 4 tbsp cream cheese frosting (I added 3 tbsp of almond milk to thin out the frosting)

  13. Directions

  14. Preheat waffle iron to a medium-high setting (we love our waffle iron from Superstore ? Presidents choice brand)

  15. In a large bowl mix almond flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, pecans, and flax

  16. Separate egg whites and yolks

  17. Combine yolks, coconut oil, honey, vanilla, and milk and mix with hand blender until fluffy

  18. Combine flour mixture into yolk mixture and set aside

  19. Beat whites until fluffy, fold into flour and yolk mixture

  20. If needed, grease preheated waffle iron with coconut oil (ours doesn?t need it)

  21. Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron (3 scoops to a regular sized waffle iron is more than enough). Cook until golden and drizzle with frosting.
