Really made with any kind of winter squash -- this assumes one fairly small squash.

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon-sugar Squash

1 cup acorn squash
2 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon-sugar Squash

  1. 30 min. in the oven, cut-side-down, at 400 degrees on buttered pan (till no resistance to poking)

  2. Remove from oven, flip over, sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar

  3. 5 more minutes in the oven (to melt sugar)
