These delightful muffins are wonderful for morning breakfast or brunch!

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Sugar Muffins

2 cups Flour
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
4 tsp Baking Powder
1 egg
1 cup Milk
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
2 tsp Cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Sugar Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 400*F. Prepare muffin tins by either lightly spraying tins with baking spray or using paper liners.

  2. In a large bowl combine Flour, Granulated Sugar, Salt, and Baking Powder.

  3. In a smaller bowl or measuring cup mix together the Milk, Oil and Egg.

  4. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

  5. In a small bowl combine the Brown Sugar and the Cinnamon.

  6. Slowly fold the cinnamon sugar mixture into the batter, reserving 2 Tbs of the mixture.

  7. Fill the muffin tins about 3/4 full. Sprinkle the remaining Cinnamon Sugar on the tops of the muffins. Place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes.
