Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Rolls

6 cups water (warm)
2/3 cup canola oil
2/3 cup honey
3 tbsp. active dry yeast
2 tbsp. salt
8 cups white flour
5 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup canola oil
2 1/2 cups butter
4 cups brown sugar
3 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cups butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Rolls

Combine warm water, 2/3 oil, honey, yeast, and salt in bread mixer or large bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes. Add 4 cups white flour. Mix well. Add 4 cups wheat flour, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Continue to alternately add white and wheat flour, one cup at a time until dough is only slightly sticky. Continue to knead in mixer or large bowl for 10 to 12 minutes, adding flour if dough is too sticky. Cover and let rise for 30 - 45 minutes. Punch down and divide into 3 sections. Pour 1/3 cup oil on counter. Use enough oil at a time to keep dough from sticking to counter. Roll each section into a rectangle. Spread with 1/2 cup butter and sprinkle with 1 1/3 cups brown sugar and 1 tbsp. cinnamon. Roll and use floss or knife to cut roll into inch-and-a-half sections. Place rolls on greased cooking sheet. Leave enough room for rising. Preheat oven to 350*. Let rolls rise for about 20-30 minutes. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 20 minutes before frosting. Melt remaining butter. Add powedered sugar, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix with wire whisk and spoon over rolls.
