French toast made with eggs, sugar cinnamon, and just a drizzle of syrup. The brunch go-to!

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon French Toast (Sugared)

2 medium Egg, Whole
4 slice, medium Bread, Italian
1 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon French Toast (Sugared)

  1. Mix eggs with 1% milk. I've found it easier to start with 2-4 eggs and 1 cup of milk. You can always make more of the mix later!

  2. Heat your pan to medium-high heat, then spray the pan with cooking spray OR use a tiny bit of butter so the bread doesn't stick.

  3. Dunk the bread one at a time into your egg mixture, then put the pieces into the pan, being careful not to overload the pan at once.

  4. Watch closely -- depending on your oven, the toast might cook quickly or it might take a minute. Try to be patient, but don't just wander away!

  5. Flip the french toast once the first side is brown and delicious.

  6. Repeat with all of your bread, then when you're finished, sprinkle on a dash of sugared cinnamon (or ground, if you prefer!) and a drizzle of syrup.

  7. Done!
