Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon French Toast

1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbl Smart Balance Light, melted
3/4 cup egg whites
2 tbl nonfat milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
2 tsp sugar
6 slices whole wheat bread

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon French Toast

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly spray a 10 x 15 inch baking dish with nonfat cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Spread brown sugar mixture in bottom of dish; drizzle margarine over sugar and mix well. In a medium bowl, combine egg whites, milk, vanilla, and sugar; blend until smooth. Dip bread slices in egg mixture and coat well on both sides. Arrange slices in baking dish; pour remaining egg mixture on top and refrigerate until ready to bake. Bake in preheated oven 20 minutes. Serve with powdered sugar, lite syrup, or preserves.
