An uncommon combination of cinnamon with garlic and Italian herbs season this simple chicken dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Chicken

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper, ground

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Chicken

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Place cinnamon, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a large ziploc bag. Shake around; make sure that spices and seasoning is well mixed, especially cinnamon. Place chicken in the bag with spice mix and shake well until evenly coated.

  3. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
