Cinnamon buns made with baking powdere instead of yeast. Yumm.

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon buns.

2 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup light brown sugar
4 oz 67% Buttery Spread
2.66 oz 67% Buttery Spread
3 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
1 large Egg, Whole
0.67 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3 tsp Sugars, Granulated

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon buns.

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together. cut in the 1/2 cup of butter.

  2. whisk together egg, milk and vanilla.

  3. add egg mixture to dry mixture form your dough.

  4. roll out dough on a floured surface until about 1/2 inch thick.

  5. mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1/3 cup of butter and spead over your dough.

  6. roll up your dough long ways and slice about 1 inch think. ploace slices in a greased pan and cook at 400 degrees for 20 to 2 mins.

  7. i make a glaze to cover using 1 cup of powdered sugar and 3 table spoons of orange juice. Cover over cinnamon buns when cooled.
