Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Bread

1 cup Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1 cup Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour
2 tbsp Milled Flax Seed
1 large egg Eggland's Best Egg
1 cup Lowfat Buttermilk
4 tbsp Canola Oil
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray loaf pan with cooking spray.

  2. Combine oil, sugar, egg and vanilla in a bowl. **Need to add another 1/2 cup equivalent of stevia. Not in above ingredients.***

  3. In a separate bowl, combine baking soda, flour, salt and cinnamon.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet alternating between the flour mixture and the milk. End with the flour.

  5. Mix just until combined. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar. Cook for 50 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the loaf pan.

  6. You can remove it from the pan after it has cooled for a while. The amount of sugar in it makes it a littler harder to come out when it is still hot.
