Crisp on the outside and soft in the middle well worth the effort :o) If you use a smaller cutter you willhave more biscuits with a lower calorie count

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnamon Biscuits

150 grams Self Raising Flour
150 grams Plain Flour
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
125 grams butter
100 grams sugar
1 egg

Recipe Directions for Cinnamon Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven 160c/Gas 3

  2. In a large bowl sift flours and cinnamon together

  3. In a separate bowl mix the butter and sugar until smooth, add the egg and mix well

  4. Stir the dry ingredients into the butter mix to form firm dough

  5. Lift onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth

  6. Roll out to 5mm thick, cut biscuits and place on a greased baking tray

  7. Bake until light golden colour, 10-15 minutes

  8. Remove and allow to cool and harden before storing in an air tight container.

  9. They will last a week in an airtight container and up to one month in the freezer.
