An (experimental) sweet wheat/oat bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Cinnameg Half-wheat bread

1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 cup oats
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
3 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Cinnameg Half-wheat bread

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Mix dry ingredients (EXCEPT the sugar) together in a medium bowl (flours, oats, salt, spices, and baking soda/powders).

  3. Add wet ingredients to a large bowl, then add the sugar and stir until well mixed and slightly lightened.

  4. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stir well. Pour into bread pans (should make two loaves).

  5. Bake for 60 minutes and let cool after taking out of oven.
