Delicious cinamon buns with cream cheese frosting.

Recipe Ingredients for Cinamon Buns


Dough:
4 cups white flour
12 oz water
2 tblsp powdered milk
1 egg
2 tblsp sugar
2 tblsp margarine
1 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

Filling:
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tblsp cinnamon
2 tblsp margarine

Frosting:
1/4 cup low fat cream cheese
1/4 cup margarine
2 cups icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon extract

Recipe Directions for Cinamon Buns

  1. Put first list of ingredients in breadmaker and run on dough setting. (should be 1.5 hrs)

  2. Roll out dough in large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. thinly spread margarine over dough, leaving 1 inch on edge nearest you. Spread brown sugar/cinamon mix all over the dough, leaving 1 inch. Roll up into log, ending at the non-buttered edge. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices, and put 1/2 inch apart in glass or stone casserole dish. Let rise until edges touch, bake in 350 oven until golden brown.

  4. Beat Cream cheese and margarine in electric mixer until fluffy, add icing sugar a little at a time. Add lemon and vanilla extract. Spread on cinamon buns as soon as they're out of the oven.
