This is a healthy, low soduim, refried beans recipie.

Recipe Ingredients for Cilantro Refried Beans

1 cup Black Beans, Organic
1 cup Pinto Beans, Organic
5 clove Garlic
3 oz Cilantro
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
4 Teaspoon Juice
4 Teaspoon Juice

Recipe Directions for Cilantro Refried Beans

  1. Heat up the Olive Oil and add the garlic once hot.

  2. Brown the garlic.

  3. Then add both cans of rinsed beans.

  4. When beans are heated use a wooden spoon to start grinding them into a paste. Grind until 50% paste/50% wholebeans.

  5. Add the lemon andlime juice.I seasoned with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper for heat.

  6. Let simmer for five minutes.

  7. Serve!
