This zesty rice is about 4 1/2 cups prepared. It produced 9, half cup servings.

Recipe Ingredients for Cilantro lime rice

1 1/2 cup Brown Rice
2 1/2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 cup Cilantro
2 serving Chicken Flavor Bouillon
1 fruit (2" dia) Limes
1 tbsp Spreadable Butter with Canola Oil
1 tsp Onion Powder

Recipe Directions for Cilantro lime rice

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Bring 2 1/2 cups of water plus 1 tablespoon of butter to a boil.

  3. Add the rice, onion powder, fine chopped cilantro, bouillon cube, and lime juice and zest.

  4. Bring water back up to a boil then cover and cook in oven for about one hour

  5. Fluff rice with a fork and serve

  6. NOTE: DO NOT PEAK! let the rice go until the last 5 minutes then you can look. Peaking will disrupt the rice.
