Recipe Ingredients for Cider Glazed Carrots

122 g carrots, sliced (3 c chopped)
1 tsp butter
1 tsp canola oil
1 tsp brown sugar
1/3 c apple juice
1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp dijon mustard

Recipe Directions for Cider Glazed Carrots

  1. In a large skillet, saute carrots in butter for 5 minutes. Add brown sugar. Cook and stir for 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Stir in the cider, water, and mustard. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender. Uncover and cook 3 minutes longer. Stir to cover carrots with the glaze.
