Recipe Ingredients for Cider Cheese Fondue

3/4 cup apple cider
2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tspn pepper
1/8 clove of garlic, diced
1 dash ground cloves
1 dash of cinnamon or nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Cider Cheese Fondue

  1. In a large saucepan, bring cider to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to medium-low.

  3. Toss the cheeses with cornstarch and pepper; stir into cider.

  4. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  5. Transfer to a small ceramic fondue pot or slow cooker; keep warm.

  6. Serve with bread cubes.
