Recipe Ingredients for Chunky Veg and Barley Soup

1 swede
1 turnip
100 g parsnip
2 carrots
2 potatos
1 onion
2 oz pearl barley
2 vegetable stock cubes
2 litres water

Recipe Directions for Chunky Veg and Barley Soup

Chop all vegetables and place in pan with stock cubes and water, cook until vegetables are soft, mash using potato masher until broken down but still chunky, add barley and cook for a further 15 minutes or until barley is soft.
