Recipe Ingredients for Chunky Marinara

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
14 1/2 ounce crushed tomatoes
6 ounce tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon splenda
2 teaspoon dried parsley
2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Chunky Marinara

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic and cook 2 to 4 minutes until tender, stirring frequently.

  2. Mix in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, splenda, parsley, basil, and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until flavors are blended, stirring frequently.
