Recipe Ingredients for Chunky, creamy veggie soup

2 cups onion, diced
4 cups potato, diced
2 cup carrots, diced
411 g corn
1 1/2 cup green beans, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
2 1/4 cups skim milk
1 1/4 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp corn starch
411 g crushed tomatoes
3 tbsp tomato paste

Recipe Directions for Chunky, creamy veggie soup

  1. Saute garlic, onion, potato and carrots in melted butter over medium-high heat until softened, 5-10 minutes.

  2. Stir in seasoning and garlic salt.

  3. Slowly stir in milk and cornstarch, and bring to a boil.

  4. Add tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, corn and green beans.

  5. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
