Recipe Ingredients for Chunky Chicken Soup

1 lb chicken
2 bouillon cubes
2 cups celery
2 cups onion
4 cloves garlic
1 cup navy beans
4 small potatoes
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 tbsp lime juice
4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Chunky Chicken Soup

  1. Crush garlic

  2. Chop celery, onions, and potatoes

  3. In slow pot cooker or large soup pot, combine garlic, celery, onions, potatoes, navy beans, cumin, coriander, parsley, celery seed, water, 4 chicken leg quarters, and bouillon cubes.

  4. Bring to a boil on stove and then simmer for 1-2 hours until vegetables are tender and chicken is falling off the bones.

  5. or cook in slow pot cooker for 6-8 hours until chicken is falling off the bones.
