Recipe Ingredients for Chunky carrot and lentil soup

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion
1 teaspoon celery salt
6 carrots
2 garlic cloves
4 cups vegetable broth
1 cup split red lentils

Recipe Directions for Chunky carrot and lentil soup

  1. Chop the onion and fry until soft

  2. Chop the carrot and garlic, add to the onion and fry for 3 minutes, stirring

  3. Add the lentils and vegetable broth and bring to boiling

  4. lower the heat, cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes
